Joyline's Journey
After her corrective surgery at Nyabondo, Joyline can now walk better and attend school like every other child. The stigma is also gone. She tells us she wants to become a doctor someday.

As a bilateral above knee amputee, going to school would not have been possible without the intervention of Nyabondo Rehabilitation. Through their partners, they ensured I successfully went through both primary and secondary studies. Besides, they have consistently helped with replacing my prosthetics or repairing them, services which are both expensive to undertake. Thank you Nyabondo Rehab.
For over 10 years Nyabondo Rehabilitation Centre has been like home after the outreach team identified me from the community. I came here as a young kid and after a series of longterm therapy and formal schooling, my life has completely changed. I currently work here as a technician.
